Jacob Seickell attended StarStruck Performing Arts Academy for many years. A popular member of the school, he performed in numerous shows such as Grease at the Core Theatre, Solihull and Wicked at Her Majesty’s Theatre, London with the Mardi Gras Professional Performance Team. Jacob was also a regular at our exam classes and holiday workshops and as his skills developed became a triple threat performer. He was then granted a place on the Musical Theatre course at Birmingham Ormiston Academy where he trained for two years and then continued his training at the Guildford School of Acting on their three year Bachelor of Arts degree course in Musical Theatre. It was here that Jacob undertook roles such as the Emcee in Cabaret, Angie the Ox/Dance Captain in Guys and Dolls and Borachio in Much Ado About Nothing. Upon graduating in 2017 he has gained the following professional credits; Troppo in Salad Days (Union Theatre London/ Theatre Royal Bath), Ensemble in Peter Pan (Camberley Theatre), Ensemble in the Railway Children Concert (Cadogan Hall), Stunt Aerialist/Dancer at Tokyo Disney Resort, Dance assistant and Baron Von Rothbart in Swan Lake the Ballet (Synergy Dance Studio Wisconsin).
“StarStruck gave me the necessary foundational skills to take my performing arts career to the next level, helping me gain places at some of the best drama schools in the country. It pushed me to be a well rounded performer and confident in my every day life. I often look back at my years at StarStruck with Katie as being some of the most enjoyable I’ve had and I cannot recommend it enough!”
We are so proud of all you have achieved to date Jacob and look forward to seeing your professional career develop even further.
